TAKE CARE WHEN BUYING 2ND HAND BALANCE SADDLES BECAUSE.......
We have been made aware of one scam where someone has advertised a used BALANCE saddle on a well known selling website and it all looks to be in order.
It has included a photo of a saddle in very nice condition and a description that makes it sound as if it is a genuine BALANCE client looking for a good home for their saddle. The price being asked for was lower than should have been expected for a BALANCE saddle of this age, so of course, it looked like a bargain.
Literally .......'Too good to be true!'
The method of payment that was requested by the seller was not through Paypal or simiilar and this should have been a warning to the buyer.
The end result is that their money was cashed, the saddle didn't exist and the criminal who set up the scam has got away with it and may well try it again. SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND BE SUSPICIOUS OF SADDLES BEING OFFERED AT LOW PRICES, PARTICULARLY IF THE 'SELLER' ASKS FOR PAYMENT IN A METHOD THAT IS UNUSUAL.
