We have provided a list of links to websites and other materials for your reference and/or entertainment.

The BALANCE organisation wants to encourage individuals to make use of this kind of material, but always with an understanding that it is important to be discriminating about what you read, no matter who has written it!

The bottom line is……….does the idea, method, activity really support your horse’s health, soundness, performance and wellbeing? Horses are individual in their personality and their needs. As such, there can be few ‘rules’ but many 'tools'.

The key to being a good horseperson, is to have a wealth of ‘tools’ at ones disposal but with the wisdom and skill to know which, when and how to use them. The accumulation of knowledge without the wisdom to use it appropriately is a trap that we all need to be aware of!

With this in mind, we need to say that there may be materials referenced here that do not necessarily reflect the views and/or teachings of the BALANCE organisation. Reference to any material does not imply endorsement by BALANCE unless specifically noted.
